Kymolog is named after the kymograph

A kymograph is an instrument that records a signal as a trace on moving paper. Its name comes from the Greek κῦμα, meaning wave.

Kymolog™ keeps the same kind of record for medical devices. Each reading is stored with the device that took it and the time it was taken, and the EHR and the research store receive the same record.

Built by Saga IT

Kymolog by Saga IT comes from a team that builds healthcare integrations: Mirth Connect and HL7/FHIR interface services, Epic integration, medical device integration and research data tooling. More about the team is at saga-it.com.

Where it runs

Kymolog runs on premises at the hospital, in the hospital's private cloud, or in a device maker's cloud when the maker runs it for its hospital customers. The research store runs beside it or in our cloud. Whichever you choose, the install de-identifies readings before any reach us, whether they go to our hosted research store or to the data network.
